The Indigenous Arts Festival @ Fort York celebrates traditional and contemporary music, dance, theatre, storytelling, visual arts, crafts, and food created by indigenous artists living in Canada.
This free festival runs June 20 – 22, energizing the grounds and buildings of Fort York National Historic Site in downtown Toronto with powerful ancient traditions and compelling contemporary creations.
Hosted by the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation and featuring The Honouring by Kaha:wi Dance Theatre, Article 11's The Ministry of Grace by Tara Beagan, JUNO Award winning band Digging Roots, MC/singer/musician/poet Kinnie Starr, singer / songwriters Nick Sherman and Arthur Renwick, Powwow Boot Camp by KDT, Illinois, Land of Warriors by Philip Cote, and more.www.toronto.ca/fortevents
