Frequently Asked Questions

When is Worldpride 2014? How can I book my trip?

WorldPride will take place from June 20-29, 2014.  To book your trip, click here to visit Tourism Toronto.

Can I make my event part of the official WorldPride Festival calendar?

There are several ways you will be able to affiliate your event with WorldPride 2014 Toronto. One way is to join our Affiliate Events Program. Download our information package for more information.

How can I get my event funded? Can Pride Toronto provide financial support?

Almost all events incur some kind of expense. In 2014, Pride Toronto will be producing many new and exciting events for WorldPride, most of them free-to-attend. Unfortunately, we are not able to financially assist third-party events. That's why we have put together this list of arts, culture and human rights Canadian funding opportunities to help you connect with funding organisations; however, there is no guarantee that any of the organisations will fund a project related to WorldPride.

I would like to hold a fundraiser to support WorldPride 2014 Toronto. Can I do this?

Absolutely! We welcome any support to help us make this the best event it can possibly be. Please download our information package and read it thoroughly before you contact us.

We can then make sure you have the best quality tools to be able to use in your promotions.
